This stylish detached home is perfect for a large family or a special gathering of friends. The property consists of the main 5/6-bedroom house plus a large independent outside kitchen/dinner located next to the swimming pool. The property has walled and fenced gardens of approx. 2000m2. To the front of the property next to the entrance gate is the housekeeper’s cottage along with vehicle parking. The property has landscaped gardens with mature plants and trees offering complete privacy. Modern twist on a Thai house built of wood and stone. High ceilings and airy spacious rooms. Open air stairway leading to the first floor with mahogany veranda giving spectacular views of the gardens, pool and distant Khao Yai National Park. The perfect spot to unwind or watch the sun go down. The main lounge has a high wooden beamed ceiling and features large, glazed doors offering expansive views of the swimming pool and gardens. There is another lounge area adjoining the main lounge with a 52" digital TV. This lounge has large sliding wooden doors with views of the courtyard and pool. Adjacent to the main lounge you will find a small kitchen for preparing drinks or cold snacks. There is a further reception room on the ground floor of the main house which is kitted out with a gym machine. It’s also a perfect place to sit back and read a book or have a massage. Should you wish to have a massage just speak to the housekeeper and they should be able to arrange this for you. This room can also be used as a 6th bedroom using Thai style roll up beds. Please note this room has no A/C and is fitted with a fan. The room is shaded from the sun so is a pleasant temperature. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms including a large master bedroom with ensuite. All bedrooms have high ceilings. There is 1 further bedroom on the ground floor facing the swimming pool. All 5 bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning. The property has approx. 2000m2 of landscaped gardens including many mature trees. Inside the front gates you will find secure parking next to the housekeeper’s cottage. From here a path leads you through the front garden to the main house. To the rear of the main house, you will find a large infinity pool. The deck around the pool is made of sandstone and incorporates 2 patios and a walkway. The pool is split into 2 areas with a smaller area set aside for lounging or smaller children. The pool offers complete privacy. Next to the pool you will find a large outdoor kitchen/diner equipped to a high standard, perfect for cooking and entertaining. The dinner has mainly open sides (and wooden shutters) allowing a cooling breeze even in the hottest months. The climate in Khao Yai is a lot cooler than many parts of Thailand. In the back garden you will find a further patio plus a steam room (please ask the housekeeper in advance to prepare the steam room) Here you will find fruit trees along with herb and vegetable beds. Customers are welcome to make use of the produce during their stay. This home has been built with the intention of offering privacy and comfort whilst at the same time being connected to nature. Guests have access to the main house and outside kitchen-diner, pool and gardens. No access to the utility room, machine rooms or the housekeeper’s cottage at the entrance. Please contact the housekeeper who lives on site in separate cottage on the premises. The property is located in the countryside between Ban Bung Toei and Ban Sa Nam Sai in a fertile green valley with hills that rise to approx. 500m just to the North of the property. To the south you have the impressive Khao Yai national park that rises upwards of 1300m. The park entrance is about 15 minutes drive. Within walking distance of the property there are some local eateries and as well as numerous small resorts which offer food including U Khao Yai. Also within walking distance you have Assana Cafe. Toscana Valley is about 10 minutes away by car offering a variety of restaurants and cafes. Within a 15 minute drive of the house there are many good restaurants to choose from. The area is good for hiking, cycling and almost any outdoor activity, nearby you will find numerous golf clubs, Horse stables & kayaking is popular. The best way to get around is by car or motorbike. Cycling is becoming more popular. We have free onsite parking All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The reception rooms do not have aircon but are fitted with fans. There are many mature trees which offer shade and along with high ceilings make the temperature bearable.
